Maintenance of batteries.

1, it is forbidden to lose electricity storage.

The storage battery is strictly forbidden to be in power loss state (power loss state means that the storage battery is not charged in time after use). When the battery is stored in a deficient state, sulfation easily occurs, and aluminum sulfate crystallizes and adheres to the polar plate, blocking the ion channel, resulting in insufficient charging and a decrease in battery capacity. The longer the deficient state lasts, the more serious the battery damage. Therefore, when the battery is idle, it should be replenished once a month for no less than 12 hours, so as to keep the battery in good health.

2, regular inspection.

In use, if the continuous mileage of the new energy electric vehicle suddenly drops by 30 kilometers in a short time, it is very likely that there are short circuits or open circuits in the battery pack, such as short circuit, softening of the electrode plate, shedding of active substances in the electrode plate, etc. At this time, you should go to the distributor of new energy electric vehicles for inspection and repair in time. This can relatively prolong the battery life and save your expenses to the greatest extent.

3. Avoid heavy current discharge.

When starting, carrying people and going uphill, new energy electric vehicles should avoid instantaneous high current discharge as much as possible. Large current discharge is easy to produce aluminum sulfate crystals, which will damage the physical properties of battery plates.

4. The electrolyte in the battery will volatilize due to heating during charging. When the electrolyte is lower than the minimum liquid level line, distilled water should be added between the specified liquid level lines.

(Note: It is not allowed to add sulfuric acid electrolyte with any specific gravity to avoid battery damage). Keep the surface of the battery dry and clean, and avoid sundries from entering.

5、When the vehicle is in use, it is forbidden to overdraw the battery. If the battery is less than 20%, it should be charged in time, otherwise the service life and cruising range of the battery will be affected.

6. Keep the battery clean. Always check whether there is dirt on the battery. If there is dirt, clean it with clear water. At the same time, remove the oxide on the wiring and screws.
